A Certificate of Deposit (CD) is a safe, flexible account that offers competitive rates and multiple terms to fit your investment needs. The minimum opening balance for any CD is $1,000.00.
With Mutual Savings CD products, you have several options for your interest payments, such as:
- Allow your interest to compound
- Elect to receive monthly or quarterly interest payments
- Receive your payment by check or automatic deposit into an account at Mutual Savings
Please note that if you choose to withdraw any of the principal before the maturity date, you will have a penalty equal to:
- 90 days of interest (CD with term of 182 days)
- 180 days of interest (CD with term > 182 days)
